Five MICHELIN Guides reveal new stars between now and mid-December

Five MICHELIN Guides announce their new stars in the next nine weeks: the American South in Nashville on 21 October, Switzerland in Andermatt on 2 November, Italy in Piacenza on 12 November, Spain and Andorra in Huesca on 24 November and the Northeast Cities in Manhattan on 14 December. Between them they cover 944 of the starred restaurants on our pages.

American South: Nashville, 21 October

The second edition of the guide for Georgia, Tennessee, the Carolinas and Louisiana is revealed at The Pinnacle in Nashville. Its first edition starred 19 restaurants, all with one star except Emeril’s in New Orleans, which has two. Our American South results page will list every change on the night.

Switzerland: Andermatt, 2 November

Michelin moves the Swiss ceremony from the EHL hospitality school in Lausanne to the Andermatt Concert Hall, almost 1,500 metres up in the Alps. Our pages list 133 starred restaurants in Switzerland, four of them with three stars: Schloss Schauenstein, Cheval Blanc by Peter Knogl, Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville in Crissier and Sven Wassmer Memories.

Italy: Piacenza, 12 November

The Teatro Municipale in Piacenza hosts the launch of the 2027 Italian guide, the biggest of the five: 379 starred restaurants in Italy, 14 of them with three stars. Italy names its guide for the year ahead, so the stars announced in November are the 2027 selection.

Spain and Andorra: Huesca, 24 November

The gala comes to Aragón for the first time, at the Palacio de Congresos in Huesca, after Málaga last year. Our pages list 298 starred restaurants in Spain and Andorra, 16 with three stars.

Northeast Cities: Manhattan, 14 December

One guide, revealed at the Glasshouse in Manhattan, covers New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Boston and Philadelphia. It covers 115 starred restaurants, six with three stars, among them Le Bernardin and Per Se.

What we do on the night

We update each guide’s restaurants from Michelin’s press release and the news coverage, with the price of a meal at every new star, and write the night’s main changes up here. Every guide’s date, including the ones further off, is on our page of Michelin Guide ceremony dates.
