SUIS in Schin op Geul and Azurite in Delft won two MICHELIN stars at the Netherlands ceremony in Maastricht on 5 October 2026, and seven more restaurants won their first. Four lost their stars, two of them in Amsterdam, which gained none. De Librije in Zwolle remains the country’s only three-star restaurant.

The two new two-star restaurants

Ralf Berendsen opened SUIS only at the end of April, after leaving La Butte aux Bois in Belgium. Its tasting menu costs €225 (about $250), and there is a lunch menu at €95 (about $105). At Azurite in Delft, chef Mario Ridder’s menu costs €229 (about $255).

New one-star restaurants

Seven restaurants won their first star: Ambrozijn in Valkenburg (€129 (about $145)), Bij Sidney in Loenen aan de Vecht (€125 (about $140)), De Cuijt in Mierlo (€135 (about $150)), Le Epifaan in Veeningen (€155 (about $175)), Nassau in Groningen (€110 (about $125)), Rozewied in Kortgene (€105 (about $115)) and Wild Atelier in Hoog Soeren (€179 (about $200)). The prices are each restaurant’s dinner menu per person. Rozewied’s chefs, Noëmie Haentjens and Ferdy van Rijswijk, also won the Young Chef award.

Which Dutch restaurants lost their stars?

De Juwelier and Daalder in Amsterdam, Sense in Vught and Da Vinci in Maasbracht lost their stars. Two two-star restaurants closed during the year, De Groene Lantaarn in Staphorst and Spectrum in Amsterdam, and De Woage in Gramsbergen left the guide after becoming a bar.

How many Michelin stars does the Netherlands have now?
