How the prices are counted

Per person, before service

Every figure is for one guest. Australian menu prices include 10% GST and no service charge is added, so these are the full prices before drinks; tipping isn’t expected, though 10% for good service is welcome. Many restaurants add a surcharge of about 10–15% on Sundays and public holidays, and some a small card fee. Prices shown in other currencies use the day’s exchange rate and are approximate.

Where prices come from

Dinner is the restaurant’s main tasting or set menu. Many South Australian winery restaurants open mainly at lunch; where a restaurant serves the same menu at lunch and dinner, it’s shown under both. Wine is the wine pairing for that menu where one is offered. Prices come from each restaurant’s own website.

Stars and reviews

Stars come from the first MICHELIN Guide South Australia, announced on 14 October 2026; the green ▲ marks every restaurant as newly starred in that first guide.

Reviews ↗ opens the restaurant on Google Maps, with its rating and reviews as they are today. Critics’ pick marks a restaurant on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants (with 51–100 and the regional lists), OAD’s Top Restaurants or La Liste’s Top 1000. Members’ scores: signed-in members who’ve been there can score a restaurant from 1 to 5, once each; we show the average once five have, and leave out scores that look fake.
