Two-star Auberge des Glazicks in Brittany will not reopen

L’Auberge des Glazicks, Olivier Bellin’s two-MICHELIN-star restaurant in Plomodiern, Finistère, will not reopen. Service stopped on 5 July 2026 during a heatwave, at first for a few weeks; on 17 September Bellin confirmed that the restaurant would not come back in its current form.

Why it closed

Bellin cited his mother’s retirement from the family inn, which goes back to 1870, the money the building needs, and a rethink of his own career; he says he will keep cooking. He won his first star in 2005 and his second in 2010. Its last listed tasting menu cost €370 (about $415).
