AnnaLena in Kitsilano became Vancouver’s first two-MICHELIN-star restaurant at the city’s ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on 6 October 2026. Barbara lost its star and no restaurant won a first, so Vancouver now has 11 starred restaurants: AnnaLena and ten with one star.

What a meal at AnnaLena costs

Chef Michael Robbins’ AnnaLena has held one star since 2022. Its tasting menu costs CA$178 (about $125) per person before tax and tip, and the wine pairing CA$95 (about $70). It is now one of three two-star restaurants in Canada.

Which Vancouver restaurant lost its star?

Barbara, Patrick Hennessy’s restaurant, stays in the guide as a Recommended restaurant without its star. The ten one-stars all kept theirs, from Kissa Tanto to Okeya Kyujiro and Published on Main.
