MICHELIN Guide France & Monaco 2026: Every New and Lost Star

The MICHELIN Guide France & Monaco 2026 was revealed on March 16, 2026 at the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco. It gave 56 restaurants their first stars, promoted Les Morainières to three stars, promoted seven restaurants to two stars, took a star from five restaurants and dropped 17 restaurants that closed, changed or lost their stars. France and Monaco now have 31 three-star, 82 two-star and 542 one-star restaurants in the guide.

New three-star restaurants in 2026
In Jongieux, Les Morainières ↗ (Creative) moved up from two stars to three. Its head chef is Michaël Arnoult. Its dinner tasting menu costs €280 (about US$315).
New two-star restaurants in 2026
In Paris, Alliance ↗ (Modern Cuisine) moved up from one star to two. Its head chef is Toshitaka Omiya. Its dinner tasting menu costs €220 (about US$250).
In Reims, Arbane ↗ (Creative) moved up from one star to two. Its head chef is Philippe Mille. Its dinner tasting menu costs €290 (about US$325), or €80 (about US$90) at lunch.
In Langres, Bulle d'Osier ↗ (Creative) moved up from one star to two. Its head chef is Valentin Loison. Its dinner tasting menu costs €198 (about US$225).
In Charolles, Frédéric Doucet ↗ (Modern Cuisine) moved up from one star to two. Its head chef is Frédéric Doucet. Its dinner tasting menu costs €210 (about US$235), or €90 (about US$100) at lunch.
In Paris, Hakuba ↗ (Japanese) moved up from one star to two. Its head chef is Takuya Watanabe. Its dinner tasting menu costs €420 (about US$475).
In Ville-d'Avray, Le Corot ↗ (Creative) moved up from one star to two. Its head chef is Rémi Chambard. Its dinner tasting menu costs €215 (about US$240).
In Paris, Virtus ↗ (Modern Cuisine) moved up from one star to two. Its head chef is Frédéric Lorimier. Its dinner tasting menu costs €180 (about US$205), or €100 (about US$115) at lunch.
