MICHELIN Guide Northeast Cities 2025: Every New and Lost Star

The MICHELIN Guide Northeast Cities 2025 was revealed on November 18, 2025 at the Kimmel Center, Philadelphia. It gave nine restaurants their first stars, promoted Sushi Sho to three stars, promoted Joo Ok and Kasama to two stars, took a star from Alinea, Masa and The Inn at Little Washington and dropped six restaurants that closed, changed or lost their stars. The Northeast Cities now have 6 three-star, 22 two-star and 88 one-star restaurants in the guide.
The MICHELIN Guide Northeast Cities 2026 is revealed on December 14, 2026 at the Glasshouse, Manhattan, and this page will have its new stars that day.

New three-star restaurants in 2025
In New York, Sushi Sho ↗ (Japanese) moved up from two stars to three. Its head chef is Keiji Nakazawa. Its dinner tasting menu costs $450.
New two-star restaurants in 2025
In New York, Joo Ok ↗ (Korean) moved up from one star to two. Its head chef is Chang-ho Shin. Its dinner tasting menu costs $280.
In Chicago, Kasama ↗ (Filipino) moved up from one star to two. Its head chefs are Tim Flores and Genie Kwon. Its dinner tasting menu costs $325.
